The 2027 Robalo R180 is one of those boats that makes a lot of sense for Southern California — compact enough to trailer and store easily, but built with the construction, freeboard, and features you’d expect from a much larger center console.

At 18’4” with an 8’ beam and 50-gallon fuel capacity, the R180 gives you considerably more boat than a traditional small skiff while still keeping the package manageable. This one is powered by a Yamaha F150 with integrated hydraulic steering, giving the R180 plenty of power for fishing, cruising, watersports, and runs along the coast.

One of the biggest differences is how the R180 is built. This is a true fiberglass tub-style center console with a self-bailing cockpit, not a basic flat-deck skiff. The R180 features a Kevlar-reinforced hull, poured composite transom, flotation foam designed for upright and level flotation, and a self-bailing cockpit with integrated drains.

The layout is incredibly versatile. Folding rear jump seats convert into a casting platform, while the 15-gallon aft livewell, 25-gallon insulated bow storage, under-gunwale rod storage, cockpit and bow bolsters, and concealed four-step boarding ladder make it equally comfortable fishing or spending the day with the family.
