The C-24 is powered by a standard 240 HP Volvo gasoline Duoprop sterndrive. Upgraded power options include a 300 HP Yamaha Outboard or a 220 HP Volvo diesel Duoprop sterndrive. The advanced hull design of the Cutwater 24 incorporates a complex combination of a 24 deep-V hull for a smooth ride, an 11 keel pad for planing stability, and reversed chines for quick planing, and reduced cornering roll. The double-stepped hull increases efficiency and performance, reducing fuel consumption and is also a contributor to the Cutwater 24s quick time to plane which leads to better visibility and safety.

The Cutwater 24 features an opening aft bulkhead and reversible dinette seat that provides additional cockpit seating and truly invites the outside in. There is plenty of light in the salon from the opening, transparent roof hatches and sliding side windows. The beautiful interior of the C-24 features abundant Maple and Cherry cabinetry and shelving in the galley as well as the private forward stateroom. Heavy gauge Sunbrella fabrics wrap all interior seats for maximum comfort and durability. The mood is set in the salon and forward cabin with aircraft-style, indirect LED lighting.
